The INTERSECT dinner is a recruitment tool to educate freshmen & sophomore business students in the Honors College about opportunities in accounting.
CPA Day is BAP’s on campus event for East Alabama high schoolers interested in learning about accounting careers.
The Rising Accountant and Analyst Program (RAAP) is the precursor organization to BAP and has required professional development meetings/meals twice a semester.
Members and Candidates currently enrolled in Income Tax 1 may volunteer with Impact America to prepare free tax returns for low-income, working families at local tax sites.
Once a year in the Fall Semester, members and candidates work together to pack shoeboxes to be sent to children in need around the world. Students also donate supplies throughout the year to fill boxes.
We are launching an AU chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) in the Fall of 2021. Our goal is to create a community for under-represented minority students on campus and provide allyship to them as they enter the accounting profession.
