Meet the Firms is a cornerstone recruiting event each fall and spring semester, but many newer accounting students feel anxious about whether their resumes are ready for prime time. Resu-Mania addresses this challenge head-on with a high-energy, “speed dating” style resume review session designed specifically for students preparing to attend Meet the Firms. Hosted by the School of Accountancy shortly after classes begin in August or January, this two-hour event connects students with professionals for rapid-fire feedback and confidence building. Students sign up for 15-minute time slots during which they rotate through three different sponsor representative stations, receiving five minutes of focused review and advice at each stop.
